Nettle Raises $4.8M Seed
Nettle, a London and New York-based AI-powered insurtech startup, has raised $4.8 million in an oversubscribed seed funding round. This new capital brings the company's total funding to $6.8 million, following a $2 million pre-seed round announced last March.

The funding round was led by MTech Capital, a specialist insurance sector investor. Additional participating investors include Sure Valley Ventures, Portfolio Ventures, Ventures Together, Project A Ventures, and other angel investors.
Nettle Use of Funds
Nettle plans to use the new funding to accelerate the expansion of its operations across the United States and Europe. Additionally, the company intends to increase its headcount by growing its engineering and go-to-market teams.
