Murf AI, a Salt Lake City, Utah-based synthetic speech technology startup that simplifies voice audio and makes high-quality voiceovers accessible to everyone using AI, raised $10 million in Series A funding.
Matrix Partners India led the round, with participation from existing investor Elevation Capital, as well as prominent angel investors such as Ajay Arora, SVP Product, Disney Streaming; Ankit Bhati, Founder, Ola; Ashwini Asokan, Founder, Mad Street Den; Pushkar Mukewar, Founder, Drip Capital; and Yamini Bhat, Founder, Vymo.
Murf intends to use the fund to expedite product innovation, accelerate R&D, and expand its footprint in key geographies. The funds will also be used to extend the capabilities of Murf AI's fundamental synthetic speech technology, scale its voice catalog, and expand the company's global reach, among other product development.
