Moonlight AI, a Swiss startup, specializes in AI-driven diagnostics, building image analysis software for clinical-grade diagnostics to turn routine blood and cytology imaging into genomic insights. The company has successfully closed a €2.8 million Seed funding round.

This Seed funding round was co-led by Lotus One Investment (Singapore), VP Venture Partners (Switzerland), and MEDIN Fund (Tunisia). Additional participation came from N&V Capital (Liechtenstein) and existing investor QAI Ventures (Switzerland).

Moonlight AI Use of Funds

The capital raised in this Seed round is primarily aimed at expanding Moonlight AI's proprietary data library, which is the first to connect whole slide imaging of cytopathology samples with high-quality genomic data. The company also plans to expand its team, further develop diagnostic solutions for conditions such as myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), non-small cell lung cancer, and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). Additionally, the funding will accelerate its path to commercialisation and regulatory approval.
