LocusX Raises CAD$3 Million in Seed Round

LocusX, a Montreal, Canada-based AI-powered issue resolution engine for video game and complex software development, has raised CAD$3 million in Seed funding.  

Investors  

The round was co-led by Diagram and Triptyq.  

Diagram is a venture builder and investor with over US $400 million in assets under management. It specializes in launching and scaling ventures in FinTech, ClimateTech, and related areas such as Web3 and AI. Since its founding in 2016, Diagram has launched more than 25 ventures.  

Triptyq is a venture capital firm based in Montreal, Canada, that invests in early-stage technology companies within the digital entertainment and interactive media sectors. The firm focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage rounds for startups in the creator economy.  

LocusX Use of Funds  

The company will use the funding to support the development and launch of its AI-powered bug resolution platform. 

About LocusX  

Founded by Francois Pelland and Yan Cote, LocusX is building an AI-powered resolution engine designed to optimize the bug-fixing process in video game and software development. The platform ingests data from any given game and provides recommendations through a suite of agents, including QA process automation, resolution recommendations, metric visualization, build system assistance, player trend identification, and testing coverage validation. Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, LocusX leverages large language models (LLMs) to identify and propose fixes for bugs.
