Kontempo, a Mexico-based fintech company that provides a B2B payments and trade credit platform for the industrial sector, has raised $10.5 million in a Series A funding round. This new injection of capital brings the company's total debt and equity funding to over $40 million.

The round was jointly led by Portage and IGNIA, with additional participation from Tectonic and MS&AD.
Kontempo Use of Funds
Kontempo intends to use the new capital to support its product roadmap, which includes the development of credit assessment and equity financing products, as well as AI-powered operational tools and data infrastructure.
