Katalist, a San Francisco, CA–based AI platform for professional video production, has secured $1.5 million funding round. 

Investors 

The round was led by South Central Ventures, a venture capital firm dedicated to the Southeast Europe (SEE) region, with offices in Belgrade, Ljubljana, and Skopje. Managing over €100 million in assets, the firm specializes in Seed and Series A investments within the B2B, SaaS, and AI sectors. 

Katalist Use of Funds 

The company will use the funds to accelerate the development of its AI-powered video production platform. With this new funding, Katalist aims to become a foundational tool in modern video production.
