Jizaie, a Tokyo-based startup specializing in remote work support platforms for industrial sites, has raised approximately 400 million yen in a strategic funding round. The company, which originated from the University of Tokyo, provides a real-time remote operation and automation platform called JIZAIPAD to industries including construction, manufacturing, and logistics.

The funding round included participation from 15th Rock, Samurai Incubate, SMBC Venture Capital, Dowa Technos, Okano Valve Manufacturing, Taiko Holdings, Fidea Capital, Hiroshima Venture Capital, Hokuyo Bank, Beta Venture Capital, and Sumitomo Corporation Venture Partners.
Jizaie Use of Funds
The capital will be used to accelerate the development of remote video and AI video analysis products, specifically for site situation assessment and anomaly detection. Jizaie also plans to develop AI agents for on-site decision support, promote the social implementation of remote control and automation technologies for machinery and robots, strengthen regional alliances across Japan, and expand its organizational structure in areas such as product development and business development.

Founded in affiliation with the Inami Lab at the University of Tokyo by CEO Junki Nakagawa, Jizaie provides remote video, AI analysis, and remote control technologies.
