Horizon, a Mainz, Germany-based B2B SaaS startup in the field of consumer insights & research tech, has raised $1.4 million as part of its pre-seed funding.
The round saw participation from Catapult Analytics Ltd., including the former CEO of Nielsen Entertainment, Andy Wing, and the former MD of MarketCast International, Henry Piney, in addition to Investment and Structure Bank Rhineland-Palatinate as investors.
Additionally, Sebastian Heinz (Co-Founder of Statworx), Dr. Marco Adelt (Co-Founder of CLARK), and further business angel investors also participated in the round.
The German B2B SaaS will use the investment to extend its customer base, hire people in key positions, and develop its product to the next level.
Horizon also announced the appointment of Annie Melnic as Head of Data Analytics & Insights.
