Hermetiq, a United States-based startup that develops software to automate the diagnosis and resolution of software build errors, has raised $2.2 million in a seed funding round. The company aims to address the rising volume of build failures caused by the acceleration of agentic AI coding tools.
Investors
The round was led by Jet Investment, a Czech firm that invested $750,000 through its Jet Venture 1 fund. Additional investors participating in the round include Niranjan Tulpule, a Google vice president; Jason Calacanis via the LAUNCH accelerator; and Gokul Rajaram, a board member at Pinterest, Coinbase, and The Trade Desk.
Hermetiq Use of Funds
Hermetiq plans to use the new capital to further develop its technology, specifically focusing on expanding its platform's ability to not only recognize why a software build has failed but also to automatically fix the underlying errors.
