Helpfeel Raises ¥2.6 Billion in Series E Funding

Helpfeel, a Kyoto, Japan-based company that provides an AI knowledge data platform, has raised ¥2.6 billion in Series E funding, bringing its total funding to ¥5.9 billion. 

Investors 

The round included Global Brain Corporation, SMBC Venture Capital Management, and JP Investment Co., Ltd. (via jointly operated funds). 

Global Brain Corporation is a major Japanese venture capital firm. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Tokyo, it invests globally in technology-focused startups across various stages, from seed to pre-IPO. Its global reach includes investments in the United States, Europe, China, India, and Southeast Asia. 

SMBC Venture Capital is a corporate venture capital firm and a subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC). Based in Tokyo, it primarily invests in early- to growth-stage companies across technology, biotechnology, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing sectors. 

JP Investment Co., Ltd. is a private equity firm established on February 9, 2018, and headquartered in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The company specializes in private equity fund management, investment management, and investment advisory services. 

Helpfeel Use of Funds 

The funding will be used to accelerate product development, expand applications across customer service, call centers, and internal operations, and pursue international growth beginning in North America. With this latest round, Helpfeel aims to strengthen further its development structure for its AI knowledge data platform.
