Hang Ten Systems, a Palo Alto-based AI startup, has raised an additional $53 million in a seed extension round. Founded just four months ago by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, the company has secured a total of $85 million in funding, including an initial $32 million seed round closed only five weeks prior.
Investors
The latest funding round was led by Xora, Temasek’s early-stage investment platform. Existing investor Mayfield, which led Hang Ten’s initial seed round, also participated. Additional investors include Aramco Ventures, Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra, and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, who also serves on the company’s board.
Hang Ten Systems Use of Funds
Hang Ten Systems plans to utilize the fresh capital to expand its engineering, consulting, and sales teams across the United States, the Middle East, Australia, India, and Europe.
