Groundhawk Raises €2M Seed

Groundhawk, a Finnish infrastructure software technology company headquartered in Espoo, has raised €2 million in seed funding. The company provides a real-time 3D mapping and spatial intelligence platform that enables utilities and construction contractors to document underground cables and grids with centimetre-level accuracy, helping to reduce project costs and associated carbon emissions.

The funding round was co-led by Greencode Ventures and 2C Ventures, who have backed the company's efforts to automate infrastructure documentation through AI.

Groundhawk Use of Funds

Groundhawk plans to use the new capital to scale its B2B sales organization across Germany, the UK, Benelux, and the Nordic markets. Additionally, the funds will support the expansion of its engineering team to advance its AI and spatial intelligence capabilities, alongside the development of new features for planning support and predictive quality assurance.
