G5 Labs Raises $14M Seed
G5 Labs, a Boston-based software company spun out of MIT CSAIL, has raised $14 million in seed funding to develop an AI-native abstraction layer for software development. The company’s platform uses natural language structured as a formal graph of intent, or ontology, as the source code for software development.
Investors
The seed round was co-led by Pillar VC and Battery Ventures, with participation from Omega Venture Partners and Encoded Ventures. The round also included angel investors such as Jeff Dean, CEO of Discovery Loop and former Chief Scientist at Google.
G5 Labs Use of Funds
G5 Labs will use the funding to expand its engineering team, scale customer deployments, and further develop its platform and ontology compiler. The company plans to continue building tools that enable organizations to develop, modernize, and govern software through natural-language intent.
