Fonoa raises $110M in a Series C round led by Headline to enhance its AI-driven global tax compliance platform and integrate new enterprise capabilities.
Fonoa Raises $110M Series C
Fonoa, a Dublin-based tax technology company, has raised $110m in a Series C funding round and acquired Indirect Tax Edge (Edge) from PwC.
Alongside the funding, Fonoa announced the acquisition of Edge, PwC’s indirect tax compliance platform used by multinational organisations to manage VAT and GST reporting, e-filing, transactional data management and tax analytics.
Investors
The round was led by Headline, with participation from new investors Eurazeo and Forestay Capital. Existing investors Index Ventures, OMERS, Coatue and Dawn Capital also participated in the financing.
Fonoa Use of Funds
Fonoa intends to use the new capital to build more autonomous, AI-driven intelligence into its compliance platform and to further integrate the recently acquired PwC Indirect Tax Edge product into its existing ecosystem.
