Factory Raises $4.69 Million Series A

Factory, a Sydney, Australia-based B2B SaaS platform for manufacturing process management, has raised $4.69 million AUD in Series A funding. 

Investors 

The round was led by Shearwater Capital, with participation from Martin Tobias, Investible, Adrian DiMarco, and Beachhead Capital. 

Shearwater Capital is a Sydney-based venture capital firm investing in high-growth technology companies across Australia and New Zealand. Founded in 2018, the firm partners with generationally great founders, typically focusing on B2B SaaS, enterprise software, and digital media. Their investments range from Pre-Seed to Series B. 

Factory Use of Funds 

The company will use the funds to increase product and engineering capacity, grow the go-to-market team, and support U.S. expansion, starting in Texas.
