Enzai, a Belfast, Northern Ireland-based startup that develops AI governance software, has secured $4 million (£3.2 million) in seed funding.
The round was led by Cavalry Ventures, with participation from Seedcamp, Techstart Ventures, and angel investors, including Paul Forster, founder of Indeed.com, and Jonathan Kewley, co-head of Clifford Chance.
Cavalry Ventures is a European early-stage venture capital fund focusing on pre-seed and seed stages, with EUR 260+ million in assets under management. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Berlin, Germany.

The funding will be used to expand Enzai's teams in engineering, operations, policy, sales, and marketing.
