Enigma Ltd., a San Francisco-based developer of artificial intelligence software for robotics, announced today that it has raised $71 million in a seed funding round. The company, which is focused on building foundation models to make robots intelligent and easier to operate, intends to use this capital to grow its engineering team and expand its computing capacity.
Investors
This round was co-led by Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital, with participation from Conviction Partners. A group of angel investors including employees from Google DeepMind, Anthropic, and OpenAI also participated in the funding.
