Electric Sheep, a London, UK-based AI visual effects startup, raised $500,000 in oversubscribed pre-seed funding.
The round was led by Dasein Capital and included Spatial Capital and Look AI Ventures. The funds obtained will be directed toward the further development and enhancement of the Spotlight platform.
Electric Sheep has developed a solution, Spotlight, to streamline post-production in the film and television industry. Its cloud and AI platform is a rotoscoping tool that allows ‘flawless background removal’ giving visual effects editors more scope to make key adjustments.
