Ed.ai Raises €5M Seed

Ed.ai, a Lyon-based EdTech startup that provides an AI assistant for teacher grading and remediation, has raised €5 million in a seed funding round. The company, which has seen rapid adoption in the French education market, will use the new capital to scale its operations internationally.

Investors

The round was led by Bpifrance via its Digital Venture fund, with participation from La Poste Ventures and 50 Partners. Existing investors AFI Ventures, CentraleSupélec Venture, Ring Capital, and Super Capital also participated in the round.

Ed.ai Use of Funds

Ed.ai plans to use the €5 million in funding to double its current headcount. The capital will also support the company's expansion into the United States and European markets, as well as its strategic entry into the higher education sector.
