by Kay Aloha Villamor in April 10th, 2023

easySales Global, a Bucharest, Romania-based startup that developed a SaaS platform for the automation and centralization of e-commerce activities, raised €1.1 million in funding for the expansion of its business into the US.

The round was led by Fortech Investments, an angel fund and strategic partner for MedTech, Manufacturing, FinTech, PropTech, Automotive, and Energy start-ups.

The new investment will be utilized to join the US market this year, as well as to consolidate the company's operations in Romania and two adjacent nations, Hungary and Bulgaria.

"We are lucky because we were supported and we are still supported by a new financing offered by those from Fortech Investments, who practically entered through a minority package in our shareholding and we really want to grow and demonstrate the value which we bring to the merchants. It is a new financing, taken recently, which gives us confidence that what we do is very valuable and allows us to continue to have a very long «runway» and to focus on growing the business", said Ciprian Cazacu, co-founder and CEO easySales, within the ZF IT Generation show.

Currently, the easySales platform allows online stores to automate their sales on as many sales channels as possible, having concluded partnerships with a series of marketplaces, both in Romania and abroad. Among them are eMAG, Vivre, Elefant, OLX, Doraly, Cel, Okazii.ro, Flanco and Decathlon, as well as eBay.
