Dwilar, a Palo Alto, CA-based company developing an AI SaaS for credit assessment for foreigners, has raised ¥150 million in a pre-Series A funding round. 

Investors 

The round included existing shareholder 9 Capital, new investors MTG Ventures and Shinryo Fund, as well as several angel investors. 

Dwilar Use of Funds 

The funding will support the expansion of supported nationalities in Southeast Asia and the development of AI models to assess creditworthiness using cash flow data for users without a prior credit history.

Led by CEO Yoshitaka Nakamura, Dwilar develops Lita, an AI-driven SaaS platform that provides cross-border credit assessments for foreigners. By partnering with credit information agencies in 63 countries and leveraging major open banking APIs, the platform enables users to access financial services and rental screenings using credit data from their home countries.
