Duel, a New York-based brand advocacy platform for consumer retail brands, has raised $16 million in Series A funding, bringing its total raised to $21 million. 

Investors 

The round was co-led by Molten Ventures and Bright Pixel Capital, with participation from existing investor Peter Bauer, founder of Mimecast. 

Molten Ventures is a European venture capital firm that develops and invests in high-growth technology companies. It invests across four sectors: enterprise & SaaS, AI, deeptech and hardware, consumer technology, and digital health. 

Bright Pixel Capital is the technology investment arm of the multinational group Sonae. With a special focus on cybersecurity, infrastructure software, retail technologies, business applications, and emerging tech, it has built a portfolio of more than 60 companies, spanning early to growth stages. Bright Pixel acts as a partner that brings specialized know-how, a global footprint, and a wealth of experience in supporting companies from early-stage to IPO. 

Duel Use of Funds 

The company will use the new capital to accelerate U.S. growth, expand enterprise AI features, and cement Brand Advocacy as the go-to model for modern retail brand building.
