DataJoint Raises $4.9 Million Seed Round

DataJoint, an Austin, Texas–based AI-driven data management platform for life sciences and pharmaceutical research, has raised $4.9 million in Seed funding. 

Investors 

The round was co-led by Nina Capital, Inoca Capital Partners, and Capital Factory, with additional support from existing investors. 

Nina Capital is a specialized venture capital firm investing exclusively at the intersection of healthcare and technology. Based in Barcelona, Nina Capital supports need-driven founders whose innovations transform healthcare through data and computational capabilities. Since its launch in 2019, the firm has invested in 52 companies across 18 countries. 

Inoca Capital Partners, based in Salt Lake City, is a private equity firm focused on partnering with strong management teams to drive growth and create long-term value. With expertise in industries such as Data + AI, Cloud, and Healthcare/IT, Inoca helps companies achieve ambitious goals through strategic investment and mentorship. 

Capital Factory is a hybrid accelerator, venture capital firm, and coworking space that serves as a central hub for entrepreneurs and technology innovation, primarily in Texas. With a presence in Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Washington, DC, it connects world-changing startups with investors, customers, and talent. 

DataJoint Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to scale operations, enhance its SaaS platform, and expand its market reach in the U.S. and Europe.
