D.Whale Secures Series A Funding

D.Whale, a Seoul, South Korea-based provider of SaaS-based HR management platform, has secured a Series A investment. 

Investors 

The round was led by Korea Investment Partners, with participation from existing investors, We Ventures and 500 Global. 

Korea Investment Partners (KIP) is a subsidiary of Korea Investment Holdings (KIH), one of the largest private financial groups in Korea, and serves as the venture capital & private equity arm of KIH. With global offices in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu), Singapore, and the U.S., KIP currently manages 58 funds with an AUM of US$4 billion.

The company plans to use the funds to enhance its platform performance management modules and expand its team.
