CYTUR Raises $3.4M Series A

CYTUR, a maritime cybersecurity company based in South Korea, has raised $3.4 million in a Series A funding round. The company specializes in ship cyber threat modelling and security verification technologies to protect commercial and naval vessels.

Investors

The funding round included participation from STIC Ventures and Jones & Rocket, as well as follow-on investment from Sunbo Angel Partners.

CYTUR Use of Funds

CYTUR plans to use the capital to recruit maritime and defence cybersecurity talent, improve its ship cyber threat modelling and security verification technologies, expand its naval Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and defence cybersecurity business, and enter overseas shipbuilding markets including the United States, Japan, and Singapore.
