ContactMonkey, a Toronto, Canada-based internal email communications platform, has raised $55 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Updata Partners.   

Updata Partners is a technology-focused growth equity firm in Washington D.C., with over $1.5 billion in committed capital. The firm invests in high-growth B2B software and software-driven businesses where the combination of capital and operating experience will help accelerate success.  

As part of the funding, Updata Partner Braden Snyder and Operating Partner Sloan Gaon will join ContactMonkey's Board of Directors.  

ContactMonkey Use of Funds 

The company plans to use the funding to scale its operations and meet the growing demand for its solutions in the market.
