Codesphere Secures $18 Million in Funding

Codesphere, a Karlsruhe, Germany-based company that allows developers to program and scale complex applications directly in the cloud, has secured $18 million in funding.   


The round was led by Creandum, with participation from existing investors including LEA Partners, Begin Capital, 42CAP, and 468. The round brings Codesphere’s total funding to $26.5 million.  

Founded in 2003, Creandum is a pan-European early-stage venture capital firm investing in seed and later-stage companies. The firm focuses on technology companies within the consumer, software, and hardware industries.  

Codesphere Use of Funds  

The company plans to use this capital to expand its services, develop new solutions, and improve collaboration tools for development teams.
