The round was led by Miro Vertanen and the Innovestor Angel Co-Fund, with participation from Cariplo Iniziative and three members of the Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN).
Miro Vertanen is a Finnish investment professional and board member at Verman Holding, a family-owned healthcare group.
The Innovestor Angel CoFund is a €30 million Finnish co-investment fund launched in 2023 by Innovestor and Business Finland Venture Capital. It co-invests in early-stage Finnish startups alongside angel syndicates, matching their investments (typically €50k–€300k). The fund targets innovative, sustainable, and deep-tech companies under five years old.
CloEE Use of Funds
The company will use the funding to support research and development, scale deployment for current customers, and expand its sales reach into key international markets.
