Climedo, a Munich-based HealthTech company that offers a digital platform for decentralized clinical trials, received €5 million in seed financing.

The round was led by Nauta Capital, with participation from Westtech Ventures and existing business angels such as Prof. Dr. Christian Wallwiener (WMC Healthcare).  

Climedo will use the new capital for expanding within Europe and for further developing its software solutions.

The modular solution for electronic data capture (EDC) enables pharmaceutical and medical device companies to efficiently validate their products and medical innovations in a decentralized and patient-centric way. By digitally connecting all parties involved, such as sponsors, physicians, and patients, communication and data capture are simplified significantly. Climedo has developed its solutions in close cooperation with leading European hospitals, including the Berlin Charité. The digital health company is based in Munich. It currently employs around 50 people.
