The round was led by Gradient Ventures, Google's AI-focused venture fund, with participation from Radical Ventures, NVIDIA, Deloitte Ventures, and Thomson Reuters Ventures.

CentML was founded in 2022 by Gennady Pekhimenko, along with co-founders Akbar Nurlybayev, Shang Wang and Anand Jayarajan. CentML offers optimization solutions for ML inference and training. Its software is designed to identify bottlenecks in model training and predict the time and cost required to deploy a model. CentML through its software platform allows clients to optimize AI models for peak performance and cost-efficiency. Within its platform, users can fine-tune algorithms, pinpoint inefficiencies, and access real-time analytics.
