CalcTree Raises $3.8M in Pre-Seed Round

CalcTree, a Sydney, Australia–based engineering SaaS startup, has raised $3.8 million in pre-seed funding. 

Investors 

The round was led by global construction-tech investor Foundamental, with participation from Suffolk Technologies, Antler VC, and employees from Autodesk and Bentley Systems. 

Foundamental is a venture capital firm based in Berlin, Germany. The firm specializes in early-stage investments within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) technology sector. Founded in 2019, it backs ambitious founders across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe—from inception to IPO. 

CalcTree Use of Funds 

The company will use the funds to improve its platform further and deliver enhanced outcomes in quality and safety across engineering-heavy industries.
