Brainfish Raises $3.85 Million in Seed Round

Brainfish, a Sydney, Australia-based AI-powered customer support platform for online businesses, has raised $3.85 million in seed funding, bringing its total raised to $5 million. 


The investment round was led by Peak XV Partners’ Surge, with participation from Macdoch Ventures, Black Sheep Capital, MadPaws CEO Justus Hammer, as well as angel investors from the US and Australia. 

Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA) is a venture capital and growth investing firm. The firm invests across India, Southeast Asia, and beyond. 

Brainfish Use of Funds

The company intends to utilize the funds for product innovation and further expansion into international markets. The platform, currently operational in Australia, the US, and Singapore, aims to enhance its offerings and extend its reach to new regions.
