Birdie, a London -based startup that offers in-home caregivers a suite of tools aimed at not only increasing their efficiency but ultimately improving the lives of those they provide care for, raised $30 million in a Series B funding round.

Birdie, a London -based startup that offers in-home caregivers a suite of tools aimed at not only increasing their efficiency but ultimately improving the lives of those they provide care for, raised $30 million in a Series B funding round.

The round was led by investment firm Sofina, with participation from OMERS Ventures and follow-on investment from Index Ventures.

The new capital will be used to further accelerate the company’s growth in the UK as well as increase its market presence across continental Europe.
