Investors

Backed by undisclosed investors, the new raise brings Bfree’s total capital mobilised since launching in 2020 to more than $12 million across equity and debt financing.

Bfree Use of Funds

The company will use the funds to scale its acquisition and restructuring of non-performing consumer loans, strengthen its recovery infrastructure, and expand its technology capabilities for distressed debt management and secondary debt trading.

About Bfree

Founded in 2020 by Julian Flosbach, Chukwudi Enyi, and Moses Nmor, Bfree is a fintech company specializing in distressed debt recovery and credit management solutions. Initially launched as a collections software provider, the company evolved into acquiring non-performing loan portfolios from banks, microfinance institutions, and digital lenders across Africa. Bfree uses machine learning and behavioral scoring technology to assess borrowers’ repayment capacity and create borrower-friendly recovery processes without aggressive collection tactics.
