Avendar Raises €2.2M Seed

Avendar, an Eindhoven-based Dutch startup, develops AI software for public-sector investigations. The company has secured €2.2 million in seed funding to expand its platform and push into new European markets.

This seed funding round was led by LUMO Labs, an investment fund focused on impact-driven software and hardware startups, and Brabant Development Agency, an organization dedicated to the economic development of the North Brabant province in the Netherlands. Rabobank Innovation Loan also participated as an investor.

Avendar Use of Funds

Avendar plans to utilize the new funding to expand its engineering and product teams. The capital will also be used to improve the platform's scalability and analytical capabilities, as well as prepare for broader European expansion, aiming to assist governments and public institutions in responding more effectively to security and fraud threats.
