autarc, a Berlin, Germany-based developer of heat pump OS (operating system) for HVAC installers, has secured pre-seed funding.

The round was led by PropTech1 Ventures, with participation from several business angels such as C1 founder Christian Vollmann, Lieferando founder Kai Hansen, GridX founders — David Balensiefen and Andreas Booke, realxdata founder Titus Albrecht, zenhomes founder Jannes Fischer, and Reachbird founder Philipp Martin.

autarc Use of Funds

The company will use the funding to accelerate the decarbonization of the building sector, to install one million heat pumps by 2030. The funding will also be used to expand the company's team and reach Europe.
