Antithesis Raises $47 Million in Seed Round

Antithesis, a Vienna, VA-based platform revolutionizing software testing and debugging, has emerged from stealth mode and raised $47 million in seed funding.

The funding round was led by Amplify Partners, Tamarack Global, and First In Ventures. Additionally, notable angel investors such as Michael Walrath, Founder of Right Media, and Howard Lerman, Founder of Yext and Roam, participated in the funding.  

Founded in 2012, Amplify Partners is a venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. The firm prefers to invest in early-stage companies operating in information technology, machine intelligence, and infrastructure & developer tools sectors.  

Tamarack Global is a venture capital investment firm focused on autonomous, space technology, data intelligence, and the electrification sector. Founded in 2018 and is based in Greenwich, Connecticut.  

First In Ventures is a venture capital investment firm based in Middletown, Delaware. The firm seeks to invest in enterprise tech companies.  

Antithesis Use of Funds   

The company will use the funds to further develop and scale its innovative platform.

Antithesis is a first-of-its-kind continuous reliability platform that autonomously searches for bugs in software and can perfectly reproduce any bug it encounters in a separate, fully deterministic simulated environment so that it can perform multiple tests without impacting production systems. Antithesis is already working with customers, including MongoDB, Palantir, and Ethereum. The company is based in Northern Virginia, was founded in 2018, and launched out of stealth in 2024.
