Amenitiz, a Barcelona-based developer of a software-as-a-service for streamlining the administration of independent hotels and B&Bs which it shorthands as ‘Shopify for hotels’, closed a $30 million (€27M+) Series A.
The round was led by VC firm Eight Roads, with Chalfen Ventures and existing investors Point-Nine, Backed and Otium Capital also participating.
Amenitiz plan to use this funding to expand into new European markets, further scale its 150 people team in Barcelona with the recruitment of 200 new so-called Amenitizers in 2022, and, launch additional products to its platform to keep on making the life of hoteliers easier, such as RMS and Distribution.
