Alice, a Belgium-based AI-driven platform for legal workflows, has raised €1 million in pre-Seed funding.

NewSchool is a European early-stage venture capital fund headquartered in Knokke-Heist, Belgium, that focuses on investing in technology startups bringing “new-school” innovation to traditional industries. The fund targets pre-seed and seed rounds, and its investment themes include AI, SaaS, cybersecurity, robotics, and compliance technologies.
Seeder Fund is a Belgium-based early-stage venture capital firm providing seed and pre-seed financing to innovative digital and technology startups in the Benelux and neighboring European regions. The fund focuses on fast decision-making, individualized support, and active follow-on involvement as startups grow.
Alice Use of Funds
The funding will support the development of Alice’s core legal workflow platform, expand the team and customer support operations, and enable geographic expansion into the Netherlands and France.
About Alice
Launched in June 2025 by Jeroen Villé and Armin Wintein, alongside CTO Joren Coulier, Alice is a legaltech company that provides an AI platform designed to streamline litigation workflows for law firms. Developed for lawyers and legal teams, its platform supports end-to-end legal casework, including document analysis, legal research, argument development, and preparation of court-ready materials. Alice is already in active use by multiple law firms in Belgium.
