Ahana Raises $20 Million in Series A

Ahana, a San Mateo, Calif.-based open data lake analytics company, raised $20 million in Series A funding.

The round, which brought total funds raised to $24.8m, was led by Third Point Ventures with participation from existing investors GV (formerly Google Ventures), Leslie Ventures, and Lux Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate engineering and contributions to the open-source community, as well as to expand its go-to-market teams.
