Agon, a United Kingdom-based defense technology startup, has officially launched with a platform for training AI-powered autonomous weapons in virtual battlefields. The company announced $30 million in combined funding consisting of a $7 million pre-seed round and a $23 million seed round.

Investors participating in the $7 million pre-seed round included Lakestar, 201 Ventures, and D3 along with various angel investors. The $23 million seed round was backed by XYZ, Lux Capital, and Northzone, with existing investors from the pre-seed round also participating.
