Afori, a Barcelona, Spain–based insurance AI startup, has launched out of stealth with a €4 million pre-Seed round.

The round was led by General Catalyst, with participation from Yellow and Booom, alongside notable individual investors including Christopher Lohmann (Mulberry Ventures), Chris Leifeld (Thinksurance), Garrett Koehn (CRC), and AI pioneers Mustafa Suleyman (Microsoft AI), Alex Rinke (Celonis), and Mehdi Ghissassi (formerly Google DeepMind).
