Founded in 2022, WHERE is a JAXA-launched startup that develops an AI-powered real estate platform leveraging satellite imagery and terrestrial data to support the entire lifecycle of real estate transactions, from property discovery and evaluation to management and direct outreach to landowners. In October 2025, WHERE released its ENERGY Update, a feature set designed to support renewable energy developers in land procurement for solar power plants and energy storage facilities. Headquartered in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, the company launched its core service in September 2024 and has seen rapid adoption, surpassing 100 corporate customers by December 2025.
