Typeface, a San Francisco, CA-based generative AI startup focused on enterprise applications, closed a $100 million Series B funding. This investment brings Typeface's total funding to $165 million, valuing the company at $1 billion.
The round was led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Madrona, GV (Google Ventures), Menlo Ventures, and M12 (Microsoft's Venture Fund).
The capital raised will be used to expand the platform and grow the company's team. Typeface aims to provide an AI platform that keeps up with the rapid pace of innovation, integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, and ensures the security and confidentiality of proprietary content.

The Typeface platform consists of three main components. The first is a content hub where users can upload assets and guidelines for generating on-brand text and images. The second component, called Blend, employs AI to train and personalize content according to a brand's voice and style. The third component, Flow, offers templates and workflows that can be integrated into existing applications and systems.
