Thema Secures $6.2 Million in Funding

Thema, a London, UK-based company building portfolio expansion infrastructure, has raised $6.2 million in funding. 

Investors

The funding includes $4.5 million in pre-seed investment led by venture firm Stride.vc and a $1.7 million UK government grant in partnership with the University of Cambridge to advance trustworthy AI research. KDX, Capital Allocators, and a group of angel investors from private equity, investment banking, and enterprise software, participated in the round.  

Stride.vc is a London-based venture capital firm founded in 2018. The firm specializes in seed-stage investments, primarily targeting technology startups across the UK and France. Stride.vc manages over £400 million in assets across multiple funds. 

Thema Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to expand research and development and grow its commercial operations as it scales its AI-driven market intelligence platform.
