The Mobile-First Company Raises $12M Seed Round

The Mobile-First Company, a Miami, Florida-based startup that builds an integrated suite of mobile apps for small teams, has raised a $12 million Seed round. 

Investors 

The round was led by Base10 Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from senior operators at leading AI companies (undisclosed). 

Base10 Partners is a venture capital firm founded in 2017 and headquartered in San Francisco, California. The firm focuses on investing in early-stage companies that bring automation to traditional sectors of the economy—what it calls the “automation of the real economy.” Base10 primarily invests in businesses applying automation to industries such as finance, food, healthcare, retail, logistics, and construction. 

Lightspeed Venture Partners is a multi-stage venture capital firm that accelerates disruptive innovation across AI, enterprise, consumer, health, and fintech sectors. The firm manages over $30 billion in assets across its global platform, with teams based in the U.S., Europe, India, Israel, and Southeast Asia. 

The Mobile-First Company Use of Funds 

The company will use the funds to accelerate the development and launch of Due (AI invoicing) and Claim (AI expense management), while expanding its AI research and engineering teams. 

As part of its growth strategy, The Mobile-First Company is relocating its headquarters to Miami, Florida, and plans to hire more than 30 new team members, both locally and remotely.
