Spellbook Raises $50 Million in Series B

Spellbook, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of an AI-powered contract review platform for lawyers, has raised $50 million in a Series B funding round. 

The latest round values the company at $350 million post-money and brings its total funding to over $80 million. 

Investors 

The round was led by Keith Rabois, Managing Director at Khosla Ventures, with participation from Threshold Ventures, Inovia Capital, Bling Capital, Moxxie Ventures, Path Ventures, and Jean-Michel Lemieux. 

Khosla Ventures is a prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firm founded in 2004. The firm specializes in early-stage investments in transformative technologies and high-impact startups across sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare, sustainability, and frontier technologies. 

Spellbook Use of Funds 

The company will use the funds to expand beyond contract review into full transactional legal work, scale its go-to-market teams, and enhance its AI capabilities with deeper contract intelligence grounded in real-time market data.
