Seam Secures $5 Million in Seed Round

Seam, a San Francisco, CA-based early-stage startup, secured $5 million in seed funding. 

Investors 

The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from Colle Capital, F7 Ventures, Ritual Capital, and Umami Capital. The company also received investments from several industry angels. 

Bessemer Venture Partners is a venture capital and private equity firm headquartered in San Francisco. Outside the United States, it has offices in India, Israel, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. The firm invests in enterprise, consumer, and healthcare early-to-late-stage startups. 

Seam's Use of Funds 

Founded by Nicholas Scavone, Seam is a company that aims to make it easy for any business user to access customer data using a generative AI interface. Its generative AI prompt interface allows users to ask questions about customer data in natural language, simplifying interactions with sales and marketing systems. Built on Snowflake, the platform automates the process of translating plain language queries into SQL code, providing instant answers without requiring technical expertise.
