Scala, a Bellevue, Washington–based operational intelligence platform designed specifically for modern contact centers, has raised $8.5 million in funding

Investors 

The round includes a Seed round co-led by Madrona and FUSE. 

Madrona Venture Group is a venture capital firm based in Seattle, Washington, that focuses on early-stage technology investments. Founded in 1995, Madrona invests primarily in Seed and Series A rounds, targeting startups in cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, enterprise software, consumer internet, and robotics. 

FUSE is an early-stage venture capital firm based in the Pacific Northwest (Bellevue/Seattle, U.S.) that invests in ambitious software and AI-enabled startups, primarily at the Seed and Series A stages. Founded in 2020, the firm leads early rounds, backing founders building category-defining B2B technology companies. 

Scala Use of Funds 

The company will use the funds to develop and scale its unified operational intelligence platform.
