Recast, a New York-based provider of an AI platform that helps marketers measure and optimize their marketing spend raised $3.4 million in funding.
The round was led by Lerer Hippeau, with participation from Data Tech Fund, Vibe Capital, and Jonah Goodhart.
The company intends to use the funds to scale the software engineering and data science teams.
Recast uses artificial intelligence and Bayesian statistics to automate processes that used to take hundreds of data science hours to do by hand.
It is already being used by some of the world’s best marketers at companies like Harry’s, Away, and Curology.
